📢 Garbage Pickup Delay Notice Due to current weather and road conditions.
The Village of Bloomington is accepting sealed bids for mowing, trimming, and maintenance services at the Bloomington Cemetery located at 4th Street in Bloomington, Wisconsin for the 2026 season.
Services to be provided include:
· Mowing and trimming of all grass areas within the cemetery boundaries.
· Trimming around all headstones, trees, fences, and structures. (every other week)
· Grass clippings must be cleared from headstones, walkways, and drives.
· Services are to be performed at intervals ensuring the cemetery remains neat at all times (e.g., weekly or as needed).
· Mandatory mowing completion prior to Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Bid Requirements:
· Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Cemetery Lawn Services Bid”.
· Include a per-mow price or total seasonal contract price.
· Include a list of equipment to be used.
· Include a list of staff who will be performing the work.
· Proof of Liability Insurance and Workers' Compensation Insurance must accompany the bid.
· References for previous commercial or municipal mowing work.
Submission Deadline:
Bids must be received by the Village Clerk at the Village Municipal Building at 453 Canal Street, Bloomington, no later than 4:00 pm on April 8, 2026.

Bids will be opened and reviewed at the Village Board Meeting on April 8, 2026, starting at 6 pm. The Village of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and select the bidder that best serves the public interest.
